Privacy policy

This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

1. Who we are

The data controller for this website is:

  • Jenny Gradwell
  • Campus Resolve (JMG Campus Resolve)
  • Calder Valley, West Yorkshire
  • jenny@campusresolve.co.uk
  • campusresolve.co.uk

2. What personal data we collect

We collect only the information you choose to send us. This website has no contact form — all enquiries are made by email. When you email us, we receive:

  • Your name and email address
  • Any information you include in your message (for example, your institution, role, and nature of your enquiry)

We do not use analytics software, advertising trackers, or any third-party data collection tools on this website.

3. How we use your data

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your enquiry or request
  • Discuss and deliver our services to you or your institution
  • Comply with our legal obligations as a data controller

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making. We will never sell your data to third parties.

4. Legal basis for processing

We rely on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:

  • Legitimate interests — responding to enquiries and managing pre-contractual discussions
  • Contract performance — where you have engaged Campus Resolve to provide services
  • Legal obligation — where we are required to retain records by law

5. How long we keep your data

Enquiry emails are retained for as long as they are relevant to our working relationship, and deleted when no longer needed. Where a contract for services is entered into, records relating to that engagement are retained as per the Terms and Conditions of the contract.

6. Who we share your data with

We do not share your personal data with third parties except:

  • Where required by law or a court order
  • With your institution, to the extent necessary to carry out a commissioned engagement (in which case a Data Processing Agreement is in place)

This website is hosted by a UK-based green hosting provider. Your data is not transferred outside the UK.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request erasure of your data (in certain circumstances)
  • Object to or restrict our processing
  • Withdraw consent (where we rely on it)

To exercise any of these rights, please contact jenny@campusresolve.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

8. Complaints

If you have concerns about how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK’s supervisory authority for data protection:

ICO helpline: 0303 123 1113
Website: ico.org.uk

We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns before you contact the ICO, so please do get in touch with us first.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. This page was last updated on 23 April 2026. Significant changes will be noted on our website.
