Launching for the 2026/27 academic year. Register your interest below and we’ll send dates, full course details, and pricing as soon as they are available.
Why this training matters
Serious misconduct cases sit where investigation, safeguarding, and risk meet. From the moment a report is received, institutions make decisions with safeguarding implications: interim and precautionary measures, support for those involved, information sharing, and the management of risk to individuals and the wider university community. Those decisions carry duties of care and are increasingly subject to regulatory and public scrutiny.
Who it is for
Staff who assess and manage risk in serious student casework: conduct and casework teams, student support and wellbeing staff, safeguarding leads, and colleagues involved in decisions about interim measures and ongoing risk management.
What the training will cover
Full course details will be confirmed at launch. Indicatively, the training will cover:
- Safeguarding in the higher education context
- Identifying and assessing risk in reports of harassment, hate, and sexual misconduct
- Interim and precautionary measures: acting fairly, proportionately, and defensibly
- Duties of care to reporting parties, respondents, and the wider community
- Working with external agencies, including the police and probation
- Recording risk decisions clearly and well
Why Campus Resolve
This training draws on senior safeguarding leadership and experience of managing the most complex, high-risk cases in higher education, including multi-agency work with the police, the Crown Prosecution Service, and probation. It is designed specifically for the university context, not adapted from generic safeguarding training.
